  • First combine cake ingredients from flour to vanilla, mix well, stirring for two minutes, and set aside. In an ungreased pan dump Cherry Pie Filling and one can of crushed pineapple with juices. Top with cake mix. Then dot with butter. Don't forget to top all this with 1 cup chopped pecans or your favorite chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 48 to 53 minutes (depending on the oven). YUMMY!

  1. LOVED THIS CAKE ~ The combo of pineapple & cherry flavors, along with the nuts (which I toasted), was OH SO NICE! Very easy to prepare & very satisfying, especially with a scoop of frozen vanilla yogurt! A great recipe keeper ~ Thanks! My hobbies are cooking, crochet, writing, photography and piano (a tiny bit). I went to Gabby Gourmet Cooking School. He is with NBC in Utah. He was single at the time. LOL. Let's be friends .
