  1. Easy to make, and feels like a charmingly old-fashioned and authentic step to take! I used it in puppitypup's Gladys' Meat and Noodle Casserole 183070 which had green chiles in it which I had to leave out as I have zero tolerance of anything hot and spicy and it added a great range of subtle flavours. I was so pleased that this recipe didn't include a muslin bag as so many Bouquet Garni recipes do, and which is the reason I've never made Bouquet Garni before. But I'm going to be using this recipe again because it omits that needless complication. I suppose there's somewhere one can buy muslin bags, but I've never remembered to check them out! Thanks Kate, and Toula Patsalis, for a thoroughly modern C21st Fresh Bouquet Garni! Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders 2008.

  2. An easy and flavorful way to spruce up vegetables! I used them with zucchini, tomatoes and bell peppers. Thanks Kate!

  3. I love fresh herbs and this is the perfect way to use them. Perfect for stews, gumbo and anything else. I used mine in some shrimp gumbo I was making. Thanks for posting. Made for Recipe Tag.
