ingredients
- 1 medium bay leaf
- 1 small onion
- 4 whole cloves
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 large parsley sprig
directions
- Stick the cloves in the onion.
- Tie into a small square of cheesecloth and add to broths, stews, stock pots, bouillon, and other savory dishes.
