I needed a quick fix breakfast this morning and this really fitted the bill, I used 2 slices of sharp cheddar as we don't get american cheese here and omitted the salt and added a splash of milk to the eggs and thoroughly enjoyed with a slice of buttered toasted wholemeal/wholegrain bread. Thank to lazyme for the recommendation, made for I Recommend tag game.

I've been making this for years because it's a such a great recipe. I learned it back in 1988 from my friend Helen who also introduced me to Recipe #300619. I always butter my nonstick pan though because it makes the eggs creamier and I even add a bit of garlic powder to the beaten eggs before cooking sometimes (this I got from my dear ole dad). I normally serve the eggs on buttered toast with bacon or country sausage patties and sometimes. Thanks for posting it!

I also remember this from my childhood... very easy egg preparation for the "new" egg cook! It will make you look like a superstar! Now that my tastes have matured somewhat (LOL) I really enjoy my eggs with sharp cheddar instead of the american, but my BF still insists on it as written... Thanks for sharing!!!
