Easy Appetizer Meatballs

"Easy Appetizer Meatballs - that is like a Swedish meatball or stroganoff meatball. I make these instead of the BBQ style and are always a hit at parties."

 1. Loved this! Did make a few slight changes. Used low sodium brown gravy and just 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. Added 2 pinches of oregano, 2 pinches of garlic powder and a pinch of black pepper. Still had LOTS of sauce if just serving as appetizers. Tasted similar to those fave meatballs at Ikea.

 2. Loved these! Easy as can be to make, and eat! These were a big hit at my Super Bowl party, several people asked for the recipe. Thanks for posting!

 3. These meatballs are great. I will make again!

 4. This is a quick and easy appetizer. We thawed the meatballs first then heated them up on the stove top with the sauce. This reminded us of Swedish Meatballs and they were gone in minutes. Thanks for sharing, LiisaN.

 5. Thank you for this sauce! The combination of ingredients made a smoothe, rich, brown gravy and it blended so well with the meatballs. I used recipe # 82882 Meatballs in White Sauce for the actual meatballs. Due to my severe allergy to onions, I have to make everything from scratch. If I didn't always have to worry about the onion thing, using frozen meatballs would make this fool proof!

I'm a Mom of three boys: 19, 16, 13 (Josh, Jake and Jonah) and a 1 yr old golden retriever-Jethro. I work full-time as a Medicare compliance analyst for a non-profit health insurer. I love to cook - although I don't always have enough time to do as I'd like to do. I don't especially care to do the clean up though- but who does?? Food in general brings people together and makes people feel at ease. My boys love to help out in the kitchen-especially if I'm baking bread or baking sweet treats for them. If anyone were to ask them what I put in a recipe - first two ingredients they'd list would be olive oil and garlic -- (well not for the sweet stuff..at least)! I'm constantly browsing to see how I can alter/influence my family's eating - as well as trying to get it on the table quickly! My boys are all hockey players - so I spend a lot of time at the ice arena. When I have time of my own..I try to get on the golf course or read cookbooks.
