I know you won't believe me but I had that very same magazine and cut out that recipe years ago. It is a tried and true staple when corn is ripe in my backyard . Those were the days, tough, a young hungry family and a quick to .make nourishing meal. Thank you.

This is something my mom used to make when I was growing up and so it's exciting now to be able to make it for my family, who loves it as much as I do.

This was a surprise recipe for my husband, who loved it. Between the two of us, the dish was empty by the time we said our Thanksgiving. That gives it five stars.

I've been searching for this recipe. I found it years ago in Better Homes and Gardens and lost it recently. It's a family favorite.
