Chocolate Potato Spice Cake

ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup butter or 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup mashed potatoes
• 1⁄4 cup cocoa
• 4 eggs
• 3⁄4 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 teaspoon clove
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 cups flour

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 Deg.
2. In a large mixing bowl, blend butter and sugar. Add potatoes and cocoa.
3. Add eggs and milk.
4. Mix together flour, BP,spices and add to other ingredients.
5. Pour into a greased 13 X 9 inch pan.
6. Bake at 350 deg. for 1 hour.
7. When cooled, top with your choice of frosting.
