The picture looks like it has something like a topping maybe, chocolate and nuts on top of finished cake. Is there a topping not included in the recipe?

    10 min less cooking time. 1 1/2 t cinnamon and 1/2 t nutmeg added.

Great recipe. I just googled zucchini cake 13x9 and this one popped up. I only cooked for 50 min. If I'd cooked it for the full hour it would have been dry. As it, it is delicious and moist! Just because it is our "taste" I added 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 t nutmeg. No frosting, it's moist and hubby prefers peanut butter on the top anyway.

I made this recipe with my daughter and it turned out DELICIOUS! I noticed some people complained the cake turned out dry, but our cupcakes were moist and tasty. We used fresh grated zucchini (don't squeeze out the water,) and followed the recipe as written. I think that makes a huge difference on how the cake will turn out. We topped them with a thin layer of homemade cream cheese frosting and fresh whipped cream! Yum!
