  1. My mini microwave sucks so I made this on the stove in a small saucepan over very low heat. I also used dark chocolate morsels since the cake was a dark chocolate bundt. I also used coffee instead of water and only made 1/2 of the total since that was all I seemed to need. Definitely a winner.

  2. I never keep heavy cream on hand and all the other glaze recipes seem to use it. I had everything for this and it went together in about 2 minutes! I used coffee instead of water, only made half and had plenty for a batch of gluten free cupcakes! Fantastic!

  3. Very easy. Tastes great! dries semi soft, with a shiney coating. I have done some other recipes that tend to 'wrinkle' up as they cool. I will use again, Thanks! Oh, I took some suggestions and used coffee in place of water. It enhances the chocolate flavor. Will use again.

  4. It doesn't get any easier than this! I used this on recipe #120317 and it was the perfect compliment. It's smooth and chocolatey but not overly sweet. It does make ALOT of glaze. 1/2 of this would have been enough so next time I'll cut the recipe in 1/2. Thanks foodiequeen!

  5. I don't get it. This was simple to make, but tasted awful. I added a cup of confectioners sugar and that made it just OK.

  4. I used brewed coffee instead of the water and made the recipe one and one half. I used 12 oz bags of chips, 3/4 cup of butter and 3/8 cup coffee and used it on my mississippi mud cake. I didn't want the traditional frosting that cake uses, it's too sweet. This was perfect and super easy! Thanks for this recipe, it was the only one like it that I found on this site.

I became a foodie when I went on my first ever diet. (: I can't cook very well, because I'm always too afraid of hot oil burning me, but I love baking! Hence you'd notice that all my recipes (and all the recipes I've saved into my cookbook) involve baking. I hope to be able to make fantastic baked rice someday, and am always on the lookout for HEALTHY LOW-CALORIE recipes! (: Oh, and if you know of any low-calorie indian recipes (I love Indian food, but it seems like they're all very oily and unhealthy..) do share them with me!
