  1. Made this for my hubbys birthday.. the cake itself was moist and chocolately and just superb, however the frosting was a bit of a let down. It was good, but I had trouble with the consistency as stated, ended up having to add quite a bit more powdered sugar to get it to "stay" on the cake, which in the end made it way to sweet. Overall taste was really good and I WILL make it again with some adjustment with frosting.

  2. WOW!!! This is a really great cake!!!TY for the recipe. It was quick and easy to make, but looks and tastes like an expensive bakery or resterant cake.It is very moist, the banana and coffee flavors come thru but dont overpower the chocolate. You could make this cake for a very special occasion or just treat yourself and family.I made as directed, only subbed walnuts for pecans, didnt need the waxed paper in cake pans, just greased and floured, they came out, no prob. You will LOVE this cake!!!
