Brown Sugar Applesauce Muffins

ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups applesauce
• 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 2 teaspoons ground allspice
• 1 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 4 cups flour
• 1⁄2 cup raisins
• 1⁄2 cup nuts

directions

1. Cream butter and sugars.
2. Add eggs and remaining ingredients.
3. Pour into greased muffin pans or paper liners.
4. Bake at 375 degrees 12-20 minutes.

Pretty good! I was looking for a use for a jar of applesauce that was about to expire and this fit the bill perfectly. I think next time I will add another half cup of applesauce though, they are a little dry to me.
