Excellent bread! Made with two changes - I subbed 1 cup of spelt flour because I absolutely love it, and used olive oil instead of butter. This makes a fantastic, soft and delicious loaf - the buttermilk and wheat germ are real winners here! This is going in my Best of 2011 book! Thanks BakinBaby! Made for 1-2-3 Hits.

Outstanding bread. I can't seem to use an entire loaf before I have to toss it out so I usually make buns that I keep in the freezer. Today I made ghosts because it's Oct, lol. The bread is delicious and DH couldn't wait till they cooled but grabbed the biggest ghost and his jam jar. The dough is wonderful to work with and rises like a dream. I used Splenda to replace the sugar, Made for Photo Tag.
