DIRECTIONS

  • Mix sausage, chuck, egg, cheese, and bread crumbs. Shape into two dozen 1/2 balls.
  • In an ungreased skillet, brown balls slowly on all sides, about 15 minutes. Pour off excess fat.
  • Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
  • Cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat meatballs.
