Yummy! I changed the recipe a little, using a whole wheat pastry flour, margarine instead of shortening, splenda brown sugar and plum vinegar instead of cider vinegar. But it was very easy to make and delicious. The dough didn't fluff up as much as I expected which was my only complaint. I don't like lots of dough though because it overpowers the apples, so it worked out.
