Country Apple Coffee Cake

"This recipe comes from a cookbook of mine that is probably 30 years old and was my very first cookbook. It's now tattered and falling apart with the front cover missing. But the recipes are absolutely wonderful and this one was a Pillsbury Bake-Off winner. I've made this recipe over and over and everyone eats it right up! Enjoy!"

  1. I had a roll of biscuits that was one day past it's expiration date so I needed to use it up. I found this recipe just browsing biscuit recipes and I'm really glad I found it. My family really enjoyed this coffee cake. It reminded me more of a cobbler though! Really easy to make and remember for a quick sweet for company etc. My teen daughters will enjoy making this as well. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

  2. This is a quick and easy coffee cake. I followed the ingredients per recipe except I used walnuts instead of pecans and I used Canadian Whiskey. Made for ZWT4 for Cookin Cats.
