5-Minute Cheese Potatoes

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees; grease a 1 1/2 quart shallow casserole.
  • Stir cheese sauce, nutmeg and cayenne until blended.
  • Reserve 1 T of scallions for garnish.
  • Stir remaining scallions and the potatoes into cheese sauce until well mixed.
  • Spoon into casserole, sprinkle with cheese and cover with nonstick foil.
  • Bake 30 minutes, removing foil after 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, mixture is bubbly and top is slightly browned.
  • Sprinkle with reserved scallions and let rest 10 minutes before serving.

  1. This was really easy and very tasty. I ended up using a jar of cheese spread by accident,and freshly cut potato wedges,but it turned out really well,and we enjoyed it very much.
     
  2. These were very flavorful and spicy. I used frozen fries and double cheddar sauce. These will be made again. Made for 123 Hit Wonders.
     
  3. This recipe is very flavorful and I love how the flavor of the nutmeg mixes with the other flavors. I wasn't sure what refrigerated potatoes were so I bought baby red bliss potatoes and refrigerated them first. Made for "HOT. SPICY AND TASTY JUNE Event."
