Candy Apple Jelly

You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

    1. 4 cups apple juice
    2. 1/2 cup red-hot candies
    3. 1 (1 3/4 ounce) packages fruit pectin
    4. 4 1/2 cups sugar

Directions

  1. Combine juice, candy and pectin in a large pot.
  2. Bring to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Stir in sugar.
  4. Return to a full boil.
  5. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Skim off foam and unmelted candy.
  8. Pour hot liquid into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space.
  9. Adjust lids.
  10. Process for 5 minutes in boiling water bath.
