I love this recipe. Tastes just like the real mccoy but with out all the fuss. Only change I make is to add an additional tomato soup as we like it more moist. I have even made this using green pepper chunks instead of the cabbage for unstuffed peppers. Equally as good!

  1. Chop cabbage and spread in greased 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
  2. Brown meat with chopped onion.
  3. Stir in rice, salt and pepper; pour over cabbage.
  4. Mix soup and water, and pour over meat mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Cover tightly with foil.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
