Tuna Pasta w/ garlic & lemon sauce

Quick and fabulous one-dish meal. Add extra garlic to your taste if wanted.

  1. Boil pasta until just tender (remember to reserve pasta cooking water).
  2. Heat oil, garlic and red pepper flakes over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add tuna, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, 2 tbsp parsley and pasta cooking water.
  5. Return to low heat for 2- 3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Pour sauce over drained pasta.
  8. Add remaining parsley.
  9. Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  10. Remove from heat and add parmesan.
  11. Toss well and serve immediately.

This was the first bad recipe I've found on Recipe Zaar.. and I've used dozens. This was so bad, I had to throw it away and we ate cereal for dinner. I followed the recipe exactly, and it was just awful.

This was a good, lower calorie pasta dish. The parmesan cheese really set it off - I definitely wouldn't make it without that. On the other hand, I'm not sure I liked it well enough to make it again. I would recommend giving it a try, though.
