  1. Very nice one and, best of all, can be prepared in a matter of minutes! I replaced tofu by [cottage cheese + butter beans, and ginger powder by [ground coriander + a hint of ground mace + a few dops of lemon juice at the end] purely because I didn't have the original ingredients. I also added black onion seeds and pomegranade seeds along with the garlic, which I must say added a nice twist.

  2. Nice taste! I froze, thawed, pressed, then diced my tofu to give it a nice texture, then coated it in a mixture of flour, salt & pepper and then fried it in oil before adding it to this recipe. It had a nice texture and feel to it like that. I didn't serve this with rice, but will try that next time, as well as maybe increasing the quantity of sauce mixture also. My kids all enjoyed this, as well as adults. Thanks!

  4. I gave this recipe 4 stars but I did change a few things. I left out the tofu, used more broccoli 1 carrot sliced, decreased ginger to 1/2 tsp., added 1/4 C. of water & 1tsp sesame oil, plus I used 3 Tbsp. of AP flour instead of cornstarch because I was out of cornstarch. I also added 1/8 tsp more garlic and served it over brown rice. It was awesome. The sauce was just the right thickness. The amount of cayenne was perfect for me. I will probably use the tofu next time or increase the broccoli, I used 2 heads of broccoli, but I will make this again. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Sorry, I didn't like this, it didn't have much flavor, just a tartness from all the soy sauce.
