I am wife to my hunky hubby Chris. I am also a stay at home, extended breasfeeding, extended rear facing, delay/anti vax, babywearing, homemade baby food making, and cloth diapering mama to the most beautiful and precious 21 month old little girl out there. We are expecting our second child in May. We are also adopting a child hopefully in the near future (check out our website for additional information).
Since having my daughter, Zoelle, I have decided I need to teach myself to cook. In the past, I have always been busy with school, but now that I am home, I have the time, so I must learn. My hubby has a passion for cooking and has always watched the cooking shows. I have picked up on that passion and done my best to experiment and have fun with cooking. We often cook together and that is one of the highlights of my day.
I have learned that I prefer to bake over cook any day, but that if I want to keep a waistline, I must cook!
I like to try cooking and baking fancy things. I have a huge desire to make my daughter a fancy one year old birthday cake. Just for the fun of it, I know she won't remember...but I will! Edited to add: I did this! :)
