  1. Heaven on a plate. I made pie crust from scratch. I didn't have taco seasoning, so I used a little Goya Sazon seasoning along with cumin and basil, then mixed in a little flour dissolved in chicken broth. Things thickened up just fine. I gave the pie 10 minutes to set up once removed from the oven. We couldn't stop eating this! So delicious. Went well with a big salad and pinto bean saute. This one is a winner!

  2. This is a great recipe. The filling would actually be good wrapped in a flour tortilla, but then you wouldn't get the pie crust. I used about a pound and half of meat, but instead of using additional taco seasoning, I just added some of my own chili powder, cumin, and salt. This will definately be made again.

  3. I prepared this ahead of time, putting it in the refrig. for my ds to bake for dinner and everyone loved the pie even though I didn't use the jalapenos and olives. However an oven temp is not mentioned in the recipe, so we cooked it at 350-degrees F and it came out perfect.
