  1. I made some eggrolls, and just as they were almost done, I decided we needed some sweet & sour sauce for dipping. I do like pineapple in my S&S, but I just wanted something quick and easy. This was super quick, super easy and super tasty. Fit the bill perfectly and I'm happy this recipe! I will definitely use again! Thanks!

  3. OMG! This stuff is better than the restaurant sweet & sour sauce. I did add 1.5 extra T. brown sugar & 1 T.apple juice. I also only used 1/8 cup of apple cider vinegar. Thank you for a fab. recipe! :)

  4. K, oh my goodness! I was so happy with this sauce. I'm not one for planning meals really and this sauce is great so a girl who flys by the seat of her pants but is still on a budget. I will make this again. Thanks!

  5. I was looking for a sweet & sour sauce for chicken over rice per my local Chinese restaurant. This was perfect butI lowered the vinegar by half (1/8c) and added about 1/8-1/4 tsp lite soy sauce. Even my DH who doesn't normally eat Chinese raved about it so in my eyes that does it for me.I'm on Weight Watchers so I took the recipe having the lowest points and this was it (3 pts). Thanks!!

I live in Canada & am a stay at home mother of 3. I am not much of a cook, learning slowly, thanks to all of your great recipes.I'd like to experiment a bit more but usually end up making kid friendly recipes. Baking is probably my favorite thing to do.
