Sweet and Sour Sauce

ingredients

• 1 medium green pepper, diced large or small strips
• 1 medium red pepper, diced large or small strips
• 236.59 ml water
• 1 chicken bouillon cube
• 44.37 ml brown sugar
• 4.92 ml Kitchen Bouquet (or brown gravy color)
• 118.29 ml sugar
• 44.37 ml cider vinegar
• 85.04 g pineapple juice
• 29.58 ml cornstarch

directions

1. Place green and red pepper in water in saucepan.
2. Bring to boil, and simmer 1 minute.
3. Add the bouillon cube, brown sugar, white sugar and Kitchen Bouquet.
4. Make a smooth paste of remaining ingredients and add to the simmering liquid.
5. Cook a minute or two until sauce is thick and clear.
