Icky, spooky kids' snack.
Make and share this Spider Pretzels recipe from Food.com.
- 2 round crackers
- 2 teaspoons creamy peanut butter or 2 teaspoons cream cheese
- 8 small pretzel sticks
- 2 raisins
- Spread peanut butter on one cracker and "sandwich" with the other cracker.
- Insert eight pretzel legs into the filling between the crackers.
- Use dabs of peanut butter to affix the raisin eyes.
These are so cute and my nephews loved them! They dont care for raisins so I used half of a peanut for the eyes. A healthier snack for kids too, next time I might try some cheese spread. Thank you MommyMakes for posting this recipe.
I made this for my 7 year old as a fun treat after a half day of school and he loved it!! I think this will be made often at our house! Although, being a little science know-it-all, he wanted to know if I was only going to use TWO eyes... :) Thanks!!
A great quick lunch on Halloween when your kids are home sick! I did go screaming down the hall yelling "Trent! Trent! We have an arachnid problem!" (He's 7 and used to my hysterics! LOL) He and his sister loved them! I used chocolate chips instead of the raisins, though! Thanks MM!
