A very hearty, spicy spaghetti. A green salad and garlic bread would round out the meal.

This is such a wonderful recipe. It is the true essence of italian cooking. The aroma itself is worth the preparation! At first the long list of ingredients intimidated me and I started to pass it by, but on second glance, I decided that it was really not difficult. Instead of making the meatballs, I browned the ground beef (not using the breadcrumbs, egg nor milk), then proceeded to prepare the recipe as directed, adding the ground beef to the sauce and simmering. I prepared it this way because we like a meaty sauce. Next time, I will make the meatballs and add ground beef to the sauce as well as some mushrooms. I plan to prepare a double recipe next time so I will have enough to freeze. DH and I loved this recipe. It will definitely go into my more than 5*'s cookbook! Thank you MizzNezz!

Wow, I can't believe I am the first person to review this recipe. A gem that has gone unnoticed. The meatballs were tender and easy to make. The sauce had a full-bodied herb/tomato flavor and good consistency. My family and I thought it delicious and this is something I will make again. Thanks MizzNezz. Happy Holidays.
