  • Preheat over to 300.
  • Cream butter & sugar throughy.
  • Add eggs, syrup, vanilla, and chopped nuts.
  • Mix well.
  • Tun into pastry shell.
  • Arrange pecan halveson top of pie.
  • Place on lower rack of oven and cook for 45 minutes or until center is firm.
