A lovely scent and flavor in simple syrup--great for cocktails and smoothies, dessert sauces, etc.
- Combine in a pan over medium heat, bring to a boil and boil about ten minutes.
- Cool and strain.
Served this with recipe #373170 for a very cinnamony breakfast. I halved the recipe but still used 2 cinnamon sticks as I knew my stash was getting old and had probably lost some of their flavor. Delicious syrup that I will make again! Made for Fall 2013 My 3 Chefs.
