- 2 ounces mild pork sausage
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1⁄2 ounce black bean sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 12 ounces raw peeled shrimp, cut in half
- 1 teaspoon gin
- 1 large green pepper, cut in strips
- 1 large onion, sliced into thin wedges
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon catsup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Accent seasoning (optional)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
directions
- In large skillet cook pork sausage,garlic,black bean till meat is browned.
- Add curry powder,shrimp;cook till shrimp turns pink.Add gin,green pepper, onion and chicken broth. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer 3 minutes.Stir in catsup, salt, sugar and Accent.
- Blend 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water; add to shrimp mixture. Cook and stir till mixture thickens and boils.
- Add tomatoes; cover and cook 1 minute more.
- Serve with rice.
