Savory Onion Potatoes

ingredients
- 5 -6 medium potatoes
- 2 (2 ounce) envelopes Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 2 -4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Scrub potatoes, do not peel.
- Cut into bite-sized cubes.
- Rinse in cold water and place in gallon size zip-lock bag.
- Add olive oil, soup mix, and cheese.
- Close bag and seal.
- Mix well until potatoes are evenly coated.
- Remove from bag and place in roasting pan and spread out evenly.
- Bake 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.

These are wonderful.. We also halved the recipe and for a familly of 4 this works great. Yes, they do stick to the pan, so I think next time I will line the cookie sheet with foil. Thanks for posting! Another great recipe added to our rotation. -

Delicious potatoes! I cut the recipe in half and roasted the potatoes on parchment paper. Perfect flavored potatoes! Thank you Ann!!

This was o.k. but this was missing something, alittle too dry for us. I also made this the second time on the grill and added butter instead of oil to the packet and came out better that way.

Our oldest granddaughters - Kailey and Addisyn (with grandma & grandpa)
The top photo is my dd, Jacelyn aka FraggleJ and her two boys. She was expecting her daughter when the photo was taken. The other photo is Jacob & grandma :), both were taken last Saturday (03/29/08) while we were climbing a local butte. Those two little boys did an amazingly good job of hiking the steep trail (so did grandma!).
Food is my passion. I love to cook, I love to read recipes, I have hundreds of cookbooks. My favorite cookbook is Recipezaar! Since I joined in 2002 it has become the first place I go when looking for a recipe. Cooking is what I do for fun.
I love to travel! Not only do I get to see new places and meet interesting people - I get to try new food.
My other passions are my grandkids!!! Nothing beats grandmahood.
