- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, no salt added
- 1⁄4 cup red onion, diced
- 1 serrano pepper, diced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
directions
- Drain and discard the juices from the tomatoes.
- Rinse the diced red onion under cold running water.
- Combine all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
- Cover and chill 45 minutes for flavors to meld.
