  • In a bowl, add the spaghetti sauce, oregano, and basil; stir to combine.
  • Spread 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce into an ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • Layer with half of the ravioli, 1 1/4 cups of sauce, 1 cup of cottage cheese, and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese; repeat.
  • Season with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until bubbling.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving (or it may be slightly runny).

  2. This was great. I made a meat sauce for this recipe instead of the plain marinara. The cottage cheese makes it very tasty.

  4. my mother in law made this for me after i had our first baby. she gave me the recpe and before i posted i thought id better search for it first. this is exactly the same except for the dried basil and oregano. i dont like cottage cheese but it sure is good in this. i will try cooking this healthier by using low fat cheeses. cottage cheese is so good for you that this will make a great healthy meal im sure.
