This recipe is one from my dear elderly friend Miss Nola.

  1. In bowl, combine flour,sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Cut in butter.
  3. Combine egg and milk; stir into flour mixture (dough will be sticky).
  4. Press into the bottom and up the sides of 9" pie plate; set aside.
  5. In a large bowl, beat egg whites on medium till soft peaks form.
  6. Gradually beat in sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, till stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold in raspberries.
  8. Spoon over the crust.
  9. Bake 350 for 3-35 minutes till browned.
  10. Cool on wire rack.
  11. Refrigerate leftovers.
