• Yields: 1 1/2 cup

ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup finely chopped onion
• 1 garlic clove (minced or pressed)
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup catsup
• 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1⁄4 cup fresh lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon prepared mustard (your choice ( Dijon, German, yellow)
• 1⁄8 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

directions

1. In a small saucepan, sauté onion and garlic in the butter until tender. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes.
