  • Mix sugar and oil.
  • Add eggs.
  • Beat well.
  • Add sifted dry ingredients, the pumpkin filling and water.
  • Mix together.
  • Grease and flour loaf pans.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for one hour.

  1. Had some left over pumpkin from making my pumpkin cheesecake so decided to try your recipe. I halved it to make only one loaf. It was fantastic. Made with ingredients I had on hand and is very moist and holds together well. My son keeps asking for more,has had 3 slices to himself already tonight.
     
  2. I've taken this recipe and Altered it somewhat.... I cut the sugar to half, And, I added 2 cups pumpkin puree' - no water! Turned out fantastic! Thx! BJM
     
  3. I made this today and it is excellant. i only made one change and that being; I did not use one cup of oil. I used half oil and half applesauce. Excellant loaf
     
  4. This was very good. I added chocolate chips instead of the walnuts and raisins. They were very large loaves, so next time i would make three smaller ones instead. It took longer than an hour to bake also, maybe because of the large loaves.
