The first time I made this I added the puffed wheat after just boiling the syrup for a minute or so...the result very grainy puffed wheat. But I gave it another go and boiled the syrup for about 5 minutes and voila, great puffed wheat cake!

  1. Boil syrup, margerine, sugar and cocoa together.
  2. Pour over puffed wheat press into a 9x13 pan and refrigerate.
