This is my standard pizza crust recipe. This has been adapted from a recipe found on www.pizzamaking.com. I usually prepare the dough the night before I plan to make the pizza and cold-proof in the refrigerator. Take it out a couple of hours before preparing. Can also be made in a breadmaker.

Directions

  1. In mixer, mix flour, water, yeast and salt until it forms a loose dough. Mix in oil until incorporated. Switch to dough hook and knead for 15 minutes. Forn dough into a ball and place in an oiled bowl covered by plastic wrap. Proof in refrigerator for 24 hours.

This is a wonderful whole wheat pizza crust. I really liked the fact that it is made the day before. I made 2 small pizzas with different toppings with this. They both were super great thanks in part to a great crust. Thanks for sharing. Made for PAC Fall 2011.
