This was positively the best Pecan Bar recipe I have ever tasted. But I had a really difficult time with the base layer not %u201Csetting%u201D right, and I couldn%u2019t cut it into bars because the base layer was so soft. We had to eat it in a bowl with a spoon. But that was not a huge issue, because it was so wonderful. I will definitely make this again and experiment with the base layer (maybe reducing the amount of butter ??) until I get it right, because this is a %u201Ckeeper%u201D. Thank for you for sharing your recipe, tasmith1. Made for Spring 2011 Pick-A-Chef.
