  • Preheat oven to 375. Mix flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  • Beat sugars, butter and peanut butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing until well blended after each addition. Stir in chopped chocolate. Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2" apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake 12-13 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute; remove from baking sheets to wire rackes. cool completely.

  1. Delicious chewy cookie. My first tray was too dark at 12 minutes, so I took the second tray out at 11 minutes. They were perfect!
     
  2. Yummy! I really enjoyed snacking on these. They are really light! Perfect amount of peanut butter and chocolate. I used semi-sweet chocolate chips since I didn't have chunks on hand. They baked up just right and mine came out slightly crumbly but great nonetheless. I will make these again. Thanks!

  4. These are good cookies with texture!! I love the oats added in there!! I used some really good chocolate, Scharffen Berger semisweet dark chocolate (Scharffen Berger is my favorite chocolate!), since this was a chunk cookie. These browned pretty fast for me so next time I would bake them for only 8 to 10 minutes. Thanks for posting!!
