- 453.59 g pasta noodles
- 4.92 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 6 medium garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 29.58 ml capers, rinsed roughly chopped
- 2 anchovies, finely minced
- 118.29 ml pitted black olives, roughly chopped
- 473.19 ml cherry tomatoes, halved or 793.78 g whole canned tomatoes, chopped
- 118.29 ml parsley or 118.29 ml basil leaves, loosely packed, roughly chopped
- 340.19 g can albacore tuna, rinsed and drained
- 4.92 ml salt
- cracked black pepper
directions
- Cook pasta.
- Meanwhile place olive oil and garlic in large saute pan and turn heat to medium.
- Cook until garlic is fragrant and lightly golden.
- Add capers, anchovies, olives and tomatoes.
- Cook until tomatoes start to break down and become a sauce, about 8 minutes.
- Toss with cooked pasta.
- Add parsley/basil and tuna.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.

I'm from Oklahoma (Sooner born/Sooner bred); I've lived in the Southeastern-most corner of Tennessee, the FM 1960 area of Houston, in San Diego for eight years, and I now live in Burbank. I have a DBF and a DBC (dear blind cat) named Floyd. I wish I had never found this site, because I can't develop a standard repertoire of meals since I'm always browsing for and finding new recipes. It's a good problem.
