A thick one dish pasta. This one is a real crowd pleaser.

  1. In large sauté pan over medium heat, brown sausage in olive oil. Add onion and fennel & cook till onion is tender.
  2. Add garlic and bell pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in orzo chicken broth brandy diced tomatoes and herbs. Cook till mixture begins to thicken.
  4. Stir in cheeses and fresh tomatoes.
  5. If desired place mixture in lasagna pan, top with grated mozzarella and brown in oven for a thicker cheesier version.
