These are like Monkey bread but have a lovely orange flavour.

  1. In a one cup measure combine the milk, eggs, grated orange rind, juice from one orange, and enough water to equal one cup.
  2. Place into breadmaker.
  3. Add the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, butter or margarine, and cinnamon to the breadmaker and turn machine onto dough cycle.
  4. When cycle is complete, divide the dough into 20 equal portions and roll into balls.
  5. Dip balls into melted butter and then into white sugar.
  6. Place in greased bundt pan.
  7. Let rise for 35 to 45 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated 375 F degrees (190 degrees C) for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes then remove from pan.
  10. If desired, glaze with a mixture of confectioners' sugar and orange juice.

I made the dough on my KA stand mixer with a few amount adjustments, I used a greased tube pan in place of the bundt pan, these are very good and I will make again, thanks Lorrie!

When I removed the dough from the bread machine, it was so sticky. I had to add lots of flour to be able to work the dough in a ball to divide it. Is it really 2 1/4 cups of all purpose flour? Cause that's what I used. Finally I had a good result. The smell while cooking was amazing and the taste is yummy. I used the zest of 1 orange. Thanks Lorrie :) Made for Photo tag.
