Saw this recipe on the internet and thought it was interesting. Have not tried it as yet myself. Cooking time is chill time.(UPDATE 3/05/06) I tried this recipe....delicious!

  1. Blend mayo, vinegar, sugar and Old Bay in large bowl.
  2. Add cabbage and carrots. Toss to coat.
  3. Chill well before serving.

This is a terrific coleslaw with a good bite. I used half green, half purple cabbage and in the interest of calories, low-fat mayo. With 3 tsp of Old Bay and a teaspoon of celery seeds thrown in for good measure, that sometimes "off" flavor reduced fat mayo has was nicely disguised. I agree with other reviewers that the sugar is only for those who like a sweet slaw. One half tablespoon of sugar and the natural sweetness of the vegetables was just right for us. Served with pulled pork wraps and corn on the cob, it felt like the Fourth of July! Thanks for an easy, year-round complement to so many menus.

I don't like things too sweet, so I only added 2 pkgs of equal and I only used half the recommended amount of Old Bay. We thought it was great!
