  1. These are really yummy cookies! Lots of chips, and a hint of banana flavor in a tender oatmeal cookie. My kids all loved these, and they often reject whole wheat in their cookies. A great thing to do with leftover bananas which I'm always trying to get rid of. In typical cookie fashion, I mixed the butter, then creamed with the sugars. Added eggs, vanilla, and bananas. Mixed in a combination of flour, soda, and salt, then stirred in oats and chips. These don't spread a great deal, so I'd suggest flattening out a bit with the back of a spoon before baking. I'll make these again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. I always look forward to any cookie recipe that uses whole wheat flour. This one unfortunately is not one I would recommend. I found it to be flat in taste...no "wow this is a good cookie" response from anyone. It did have a nice texture and held it's shape well, but for flavor it was BLAH

  3. Delicious cookies. Love the banana flavor with the chocolate. I subbed chocolate chips for the peanut butter chips and sugar for the brown sugar.

  4. Love them!! Used 2 cups of butterscotch chips (as that is what I had & prefer for banana). Used quick oats (didn't have old fashion). These are super moist & soo good! Will definitely make these again!! Hopefully they will last long enough for my hubby to try them tomorrow night!

  5. I'm actually amazed these worked as I made a right mess of the quantities but.....they came out really really well. They aren't too sweet, the flavours are subtle, they aren't crumbly but nice and soft! What a good way to start this Advents baking!
