  • 1 teaspoon chili paste (or substitute 1 diced chile pepper-to taste for spiciness)
  • 14 cup fish sauce
  • 23 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice, with pulp (very important to include the pulp)
  • 14 cup sugar (usually use brown for added flavor)
