I'm so sorry, but I did everything according to the directions and all I got was a sweet, milky soup. I wish there was a picture so I would understand exactly what these are supposed to look like.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 13 cup sliced blanched almond
  • 13 cup candied orange peel
  • 12 cup chocolate frosting


  1. Mix together milk, sugar, butter and flour.
  2. Cook over low heat for 1 minute.
  3. Add almonds and orange peel.
  4. Drop by teaspoon onto greased and floured baking sheet.
  5. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 7 minutes.
  6. Remove cookie sheets and cool flat side up.
  7. Spread flat side with frosting.
