These kebobs were really enjoyed. I did halve the recipe, using ground sirloin which can be dry, but the onion and egg (for which I used egg substitute)added enough moisture to solve that problem. Chose not to use the optional added oil. I enjoyed the mix of spices and also chose to add some fresh garlic, fresh parsley and cayenne to the mix as we both like our spice. I also have a bumper crop of mint right now so I used fresh instead of dry and the combination of it all was really great. Thank you Canarygirl for sharing the recipe.

These were pretty tasty, however we really felt they were going to be more flavorful than they were in the end. I had some trouble turning them on the grill, as they seemed to want to fall apart a little :( Im not sure why, as I followed the instructions to the "t". I almost felt as if the meat was a bit too moist, but I wasnt sure what to do about that. Next time I make these I will add more spices for added flavor. I served these in pita with tzatziki, sliced tomato and lettuce and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. thanks for the recipe :) will definitely try these again!
