I found this in the Birmingham Times. They're soft and fluffy!

I am so sorry I forgot to rate this when I made these for X-mas. I made these for my Mother-in-Law. She has not had these cookies since her Mother-in -Law died years ago She remembers them with dated so that is the only change I made and she said they were as she'd remembered. My husband didn't remember the cookie until he tried it and thinks these have top C C cookies. I was just going to make cookies and I remember how they both enjoyed these cookies so that sparkled the rating and review. Thank-you so much for making 2 very special people very happy and bringing back nice memories for them.
