This is a great, simple, hearty meal. My McCormick's cookbook (1970 reprint) lists the final ingredient as 2 tsp of Season-All. Cooking this can get sloppy, so, use a skillet with deep sides. I like it with less chill powder. 1 Tbsp is enough for me. I like to cook it down until it is quite dry. Be sure to reduce heat and stir often. It is easy to burn on bottom.

  1. Brown sausage in a deep heavy skillet; add onions and green peppers.
  2. Cook until onions are golden brown and meat is cooked. Drain of excess fat.
  3. Add remaining ingredients; stir to moisten macaroni.
  4. Cover, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook 30 minutes.
