  1. This is one terrific pie! It reminds me of a pecan pie but not as thick and sweet. I used 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar. It added a bit of extra richness and caramel flavor. Mixed sugars or not, this is one fabulous pie! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
